News of Vietnam Train

- We would like to inform some Important Information on Hot Summer, 2014:
+ Price for Children is not applied from 21st May till 31st August, 2014. Price for children is 100% of price for adult.
+ Train tickets from Ninh Binh to Hue/Danang have to buy tickets from Hanoi to Hue/Danang.

- Train From Hanoi to Beijing, China:
M1 train depart at 18h30 PM on Tuesday and Friday weekly, and arrival at 12h10 (Lunch) next day in Beijing, China. Please contact with us (sales@vietnam-railway.com) to book train tickets!


We would like to inform Some Remarks on Tet Holiday (In Vietnam) from 15th January to 15th of February, 2014 as below: 

1. When you book on our website, please provide us some compulsive information: full name and passport number ( all of passengers on your trips ). 

2. We still reserve soft seat and hard seat as normally. 

3. When you book for 4 soft berths cabin and 6 soft berths cabin, please reminding these information : 
a. For the 4 soft berths cabin (2 lower berths and 2 upper berths). We just only reserve for 2 upper berths, because 2 lower berths will divide into 6 soft seats. That mean, this cabin will have 8 persons in one cabin. In case you book for 2 upper berths, but tickets are sold out, we will send e-mail to reconfirm about this change. ( we will change for you to soft seat or other berths by another trains depart same time if you agree) 
b. For 6 berth cabin We will reverse as normally ( 6 soft berths ~ 6 persons/cabin ) we would like to recommend for selecting 6 soft berth cabin in case that’s your long trip.

4. Cancellation and Amendment: Charged 50% if Cancellation or Amendment before 7 days. Charged 100% if Cancellation or Amendment from 6 days - 24 hours. 

5. In Tet Holiday, There are many people take the train including Domestic visitor and Foreign Visitor. Every people can seat every where including Lobby. So, Please accept this problems and Keep your baggage carefully. 

6. Our website and Office close From 28th January to 6th of February, We will not deliver the train tickets at Hanoi and Saigon station on these time. 

In Our Lunar New Year period, we can’t fix the kinds of train, timetable ( may be they can change according to number of passenger / rout ), but we will try our best to reserve as you wanted. We will send and reconfirm any change immediately. So, please update your e-mail frequently.

7. SE19 and SE20 Train will not operate from 1st January 2014 until 28th February 2014.

Note : You should keep your luggage carefully during your trip because many people get on and off train during lunar new year period.
